Aloha everybody and by popular demand, the recipe for my award-winning Spirit of Don Beach Mai Tai -Hana Hou
1 oz Bacardi gold rum
1/2 oz Bacardi 8
1/2 oz Maui Preserved citron syrup
1/2 oz Orgeat
Fresh Maui Gold pineapple
Fresh lime
Fresh mint
In a pint glass muddle 3 pineapple chunks with 1/2 squeezed fresh lime
Add ice, gold rum, syrup & Orgeat
Shake vigorously and strain over crushed ice in a large bucket glass
Float Bacardi 8 and garnish w/ lime wheel & fresh mint sprig
